Fruit Cake
Ingredients for one sheet:
250 g fat curd
1 egg
125 ml vegetable oil
100 g sugar
1 pinch salt
400 g cake flour (e.g. 200 g of corn flour + 200 g potato flour)
1 package baking powder
1 package vanilla sugar
1 orange peel or lemon
Place curd, egg, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and nuts in a bowl and stir.
Mix flour with baking powder and sieve it.
Add flour to the quark mass while stirring.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Distribute the dough on a buttered baking sheet.
Cut plums and place on the sheet until all dough is covered.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 200° C in a preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes.
Remove cake from the oven and spread with glaze.
