Qinoa

Qinoa, also called Inca rice, Inca grain, Andes or Peru rice, is known as gluten-free "pseudo-cereal" such as amaranth. Its content of protein, magnesium and iron even exceeds that of other cereals. However, Qinoa does not contain vitamin A or C and its unsaturated fat acids are more than 50 percent. For the Incas Qinoa was a remedy for sore throats. It can well be used instead of rice. Qinoa is also suitable for the production of gluten-free beer.
