Diagnosis
A diagnosis refers to the finding of a disease due to investigation and present symptoms. Celiac disease is often diagnosed in infancy due to the presence of typical symptoms such as diarrhea, growth retardation and malnutrition. Usually, a symptomatic blood count and antibody tests will be conducted.
