Amaranth

Amaranth is a gluten-free pseudo-grain, the seeds are reminiscent of millet. The grain crop was cultivated by the Incas and Aztecs 5000 years ago and was used for their daily diet, and as a rejuvenator for mythical purposes. Amaranth contains high quality protein, unsaturated fatty acids, essential minerals and trace elements and is characterized by good digestibility.
